“Our largest franchisee owner is a Retired Army Colonel and as a group we are proud to support the millions of veterans who have selflessly served our country. It’s also important that we bring awareness to our compassionate community of the 22 veterans that take their lives on average each day,” said Barbara J. Thompson, Director of Marketing for Papa John’s Washington-Metropolitan Baltimore Co-ops.

For the last 32 years, thousands of motorcyclists have participated in the demonstration ride in Washington. D.C. over Memorial weekend. This year in light of the restrictions on public gatherings, Rolling To Remember will not gather at the Pentagon, instead Rolling To Remember Challenge participants will ride locally and nationwide to demonstrate support for veterans and their families on Sunday May 24, 2020.

“What we like most about our partnership with Papa John’s is that everyone can participate” said AMVETS National Commander Jan Brown. “This is an ideal way for Americans to help raise awareness for a national issue: veteran suicide.”
