HELP KEEP IT ROLLING
We need your help to keep this amazing event rolling into next year and hopefully well beyond. It is no secret putting everything together required for Rolling to Remember is expensive. What is not well known is that AMVETS is heavily restricted in ways it can raise funds during the event. For instance, federal law prohibits selling anything in the Pentagon parking lot or on the National Mall. It is also forbidden to place banners or signs recognizing corporate sponsors. Those who come out are generous when the bucket is passed for cash donations, but that really covers only a small portion of the costs AMVETS has to pay to hold a safe, legal demonstration.
